The new portal promises to provide a single, searchable national database of registered projects, promoters, and agents, giving homebuyers, investors, lenders, and regulators a streamlined way to check project status and regulatory compliance.

Union Housing Minister Manohar Lal Khattar hailed the initiative as a major leap forward in strengthening transparency and accountability in the sector, adding that it will enable quicker detection of non-compliance and faster regulatory action.
