The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) is gearing up to launch its new website, ‘MahaCRITI,’ which promises to be more user-friendly and feature-rich to meet the challenges of modern times. The website will be fully functional from midnight on August 31, 2023.

Upcoming Downtime and Manual Filing

To facilitate the transition to the new website, MahaRERA has announced a downtime period from midnight on August 13 to midnight on August 31. During this period, promoters and agents will not be able to make any fresh applications on the website. Homebuyers will have to file complaints manually from midnight on August 20 to August 31. However, the hearings of complaints will continue without interruption.

  • Integrated System: The website will provide reliable details across all platforms through an integrated system, ensuring that information is available from a single source.

  • Mobile Application: The new website will feature a mobile application, making it easier for users to access information and services on the go.

Technical Transitions and User Cooperation

During the transition period, the system will undergo various technical transitions while migrating from the old website to the new one. MahaRERA authorities have requested all concerned parties to cooperate during this period, as the website will not be available for use during the downtime.

Background and Objectives

MahaRERA’s current website was created seven years ago in May 2017. The new MahaCRITI website aims to leverage next-generation business centers, information technology, business intelligence, and vacation analytics to enhance regulatory and complaint management functions. The primary objective is to provide a seamless and efficient experience for all users, including homebuyers, promoters, and agents.

The launch of the MahaCRITI website marks a significant step forward for MahaRERA in modernizing its services and improving user experience. Despite the temporary inconvenience during the transition period, the new website promises to offer a range of features that will benefit all stakeholders in the real estate sector.
