The Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TG RERA) has recently released Circular No.C/326/2024/TGRERA, dated June 26, 2024, addressing the importance of submitting Proforma Allotment Letters for flats, units, apartments, and plots. This directive was resolved during the authority meeting held on June 7, 2024, emphasizing the need for transparency and proper documentation in real estate transactions.

Mandatory Submission of Proforma Allotment Letters

As per the circular, promoters and authorized persons of real estate projects in Telangana are required to submit the Proforma Allotment Letters along with their application for registration under section 4(2)(g) of the RE(R&D) Act. For flats, units, and apartments, the allotment letter must contain details such as the promoter’s name and address, allottee’s name and contact information, and specifics of the allocated property. It must also outline the nature of the document, including the promoter’s legal right to the project, title and sanctions, sale price, payment schedule, and conditions for entering into a registered agreement for sale.
